HAL 001 NAIROBI CITY TOUR (3 Hours)
Founded at the turn of the 19th Century, Nairobi has grown from a small railway outpost to a major cosmopolitan centre. It is the capital of Kenya and the largest industrial and commercial centre in East Africa with a population close to 3 million. Nairobi has a temperate climate all year round with warm days and cool nights.
A guided City tour includes a visit to the famous Nairobi National Museum, the adjacent Snake Park and the Aviary. At the viewpoint across Uhuru Park, one gets a splendid view of the City of Nairobi.
HAL 002 THE GIRAFFE CENTRE / KAREN BLIXEN MUSEUM/ UTAMADUNI
CRAFT CENTRE (3 Hours)
The Nairobi Giraffe Center is located 15kms from the city centre. The Centre was founded in 1978 to save the Rothschild Giraffe from extinction.
From a safe specially constructed platform, you may hand-feed and make friends with the majestic resident Giraffes. Proceed to the adjacent Karen Blixen Museum which is an immensely popular tourist attraction. Its beautiful wood-panned rooms are filled with interesting archeological artefacts.
After that wonderful experience depart to Utamaduni Craft Centre where you get the opportunity to purchase a couple of souvenirs from the local artists.
HAL 003 BOMAS OF KENYA (4 Hours)
Bomas of Kenya is located 8 kms from Nairobi city centre. ‘Boma’ is a Kiswahili word for homesteads or fort. The place is adorned with many homesteads depicting Kenya’s cocktail of tribal cultures.
This is a cultural tour that introduces you to the traditional village life of Kenya’s major tribes.
The highlight of the visit is the afternoon performances by traditional dancers and professional acrobats inside the centre’s magnificent Arena.
HAL 004 THE NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK (4 Hours)
The Nairobi National Park is 7 km South - East of Nairobi city centre. The small park (117 sq.kms) contains all the major animal species with the exception of the Elephant.
The sight of wildlife grazing majestically against the back-drop of the City skyline is a pleasant experience.
Close to the Main Entrance of the Park is the Nairobi Animal Orphanage, founded in 1963 to provide a home for injured and orphaned young animals. Here the animals are nursed to good health and then released back to the wild.
From the verandah of the Ranger’s Restaurant adjacent to the Orphanage, one can view the animals in their natural setting. The verandah outlooks a floodlit water hole, favoured by many of the Park wildlife.
The best time for game drives in the Park is early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
HAL 005 THE CARNIVORE LUNCHEON OR DINNER
The Carnivore Restaurant is located 6km from Nairobi city centre. Among the many high standard restaurants in the city, the Carnivore stands in a class of its own. It is famous for its succulent steaks and game meat served at your table in giant skewers. The tender hearted are also adequately catered for; there is an unlimited supply of savoury beef, pork, fish and chicken. A comprehensive vegetarian menu is also available. The restaurant guarantees to satisfy the most demanding of appetites.
After dinner you may choose to move to the Simba Salon and shake down the meat or dance the night away.
HAL 006 NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK >KAREN BLIXEN >GIRAFFE
CENTRE >BOMAS OF KENYA (Full Day)
Depart from your City Hotel after an early breakfast. Spend most of the morning viewing animals in Nairobi National Park. Thereafter visit the Giraffe Centre and then Karen Blixen Museum. Lunch at either The Ranger’s Restaurant or at the Bomas of Kenya. Afternoon is spent at the Bomas of Kenya. Return to hotel late afternoon.

NATIONAL PARK (Full Day)
Depart from your City Hotel after breakfast for a guided tour of the City of Nairobi. Visit Karen Blixen Museum and the Giraffe Centre. Lunch at either Rangers Restaurant or at the Bomas of Kenya. Afternoon game drive in Nairobi National Park. Return to the hotel late afternoon.
HAL 008 LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK (Full Day)
Depart from Nairobi after an early breakfast. A brief stop at a Great Rift Valley view point. On arrival at Nakuru National Park, embark on game viewing and bird watching in Nakuru National Park and Lake Nakuru. Lunch at a lodge in the Park. More game viewing enroute to Nairobi. Brief stop at Lake Naivasha for evening tea. Arrive in Nairobi early evening.
HAL 009 AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK (Full Day).
Depart from Nairobi after an early breakfast. On arrival at Amboseli National Park. embark on a game drive. Lunch at a lodge in the Park. More game viewing in the afternoon enroute to Nairobi. Arrival in Nairobi early evening.
