DAY 01:
Depart from Arusha at around 0830am and drive via Mto wa mbu and Engaruka village to Lake Natron crossing the Manyara escarpments. Visit the Maasai village at Selela and the Engaruka ruins. Though you may see game in the area, particularly in the wet season, this place is not so much about game viewing as experiencing the awe-inspiring space and immense views.  Picnic Lunch and Game drive en route to Lake Natron Bush camp /Kamakia Luxury Camp for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 02:
Breakfast at around 0700am. Spend all of day three exploring the river and waterfalls near the campsite of Lake Natron . Trek across the mineral lake observing the many birds that feed on the lake. Eat a hot lunch at the campsite and chat with the local Maasai. This area is home to nomadic Maasai and it is really impressive to see how they manage to conduct a lifestyle, unchanged for many hundreds of years, in such a harsh environment. This area is definitely for those looking for the more adventurous safari. Dinner and Overnight at Lake Natron Bush Camp/Kamakia Luxury Camp.

OPTIONS:

If interested, climb Oldonyo Lengai, a volcanic mountain in Lake Natron .

Begin hiking at midnight, reaching the peak at dawn. View the molten lava in the volcano and descend the mountain to return to camp for a hot breakfast. Oldonyo Lengai means mountain of god in the Maasai language. According to Maasai tradition, god lives at the top of  Oldonyo Lengai and the sound created by the magma is the voice of god.

DAY 03:
After an early breakfast, load up the vehicles and prepare for the drive to Serengeti National Park . Serengeti National Park , which has been declared a World Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve, is a vast and beautiful expanse of 5,600 square miles, which supports the largest concentration of plain game in the world. Famous for its gregarious procession of millions of wildebeest and zebra that takes place from December to August, the Serengeti attracts thousands of visitors each year. The migration offers excellent opportunities to view animal behavior due to the abundance of both predators and prey. Common animals are wildebeest, cheetah, zebra, lion, giraffe, and many antelopes. Picnic Lunch en route. Arriving late evening for Dinner and Overnight at Lobo Wildlife Lodge.

DAY 04:
After an all day game drive, go back to the Lodge for breakfast at around 0900am. Proceed with morning Game drive. Go back to Lobo Wildlife Lodge to eat, relax, and prepare for another afternoon Game drive. Dinner and Overnight at Lobo Wildlife a secluded Lodge on the edge of the Serengeti.

DAY 05:
Leave for the morning Game viewing. Breakfast at around 0900am. Take Picnic Lunch with you and drive to Serengeti plains in search for wild game you might have missed in the previous game drive. Arriving in Serengeti Serena/Sopa Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 06:

Spend all of day six in Serengeti National Park viewing animals such as cape buffalo, giraffe, cheetah and lion. The Serengeti region encompasses Serengeti National Park itself, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Maswa Game Reserve, the Loliondo, Grumeti and Ikorongo Controlled Areas and the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. During day five, journey to pools and less well-traveled areas of the Serengeti. Return to camp for a hot lunch, relax for a little while, and then continue on with another game drive in the afternoon. Proceed to Serengeti Serena/Sopa for dinner and overnight another secluded Luxury lodge's, set in the heart of Serengeti plain's.

DAY 07:

Breakfast at around 0700am. Take Picnic Lunch with you and drive to Ngorongoro crater rim with Game drive en route, passing through Olduvai Gorge the site for Leakey's family discoveries of fossils of human and animal ancestors dating back to almost two million years. Read the history of the famous archaeological site. Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena/Sopa Lodge at the edge of the crater rim.

DAY 08:
Breakfast at around 0700am. Take Picnic Lunch with you and drive 15 minute into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for the Game drive. View the various resident animals on the crater floor. The largest unbroken caldera in the world, Ngorongoro has an area of 260 kilometers and a depth of 610 meters. The crater provides a protected habitat for thousands of mammals and birds. The entire day is spent on the crater floor viewing lion, hyena, wildebeest, zebra, black rhinoceros, and many species of small antelopes.  This is one of the natural wonders of the world. Picnic Lunch in the Crater. Afternoon at around 0530pm you will drive to Arusha and thereafter to JRO/Nairobi.

12 DAYS 11 NIGHTS – WT 23

DAY 01:
Your Safari starts with the drive to Lake Manyara. Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You can see many game animals such as Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Impala, hippo and others. Overnight at a Lodge at Lake Manyara Serena/Eunoto Lodge.

DAY 02:
After breakfast you start on your way to Serengeti National Park. A picnic lunch will be provided. On the way you will stop at the Olduvai Gorge where anthropologists Louis and Mary Leakey made many significant discoveries, contributing to the theory that human life originated in Africa. After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park and go on a game drive. Overnight at  Serengeti Serena/Sopa Lodge.

DAY 03:
A full day of game drives around Serengeti. Depending on the time of year and the migration of the herds you can expect to see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds and other species. Your Driver Guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. Overnight at Serengeti Serena/Sopa Lodge.

DAY 04:
Another day in Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Search for any wild game you might have missed in the previous game drives, dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena/Sopa Lodge.

DAY 05:
Breakfast. Morning Game drive en route to Ngorongoro Crater. Lunch at the lodge. After arrival in Ngorongoro you will descend into the crater for a game drive at the bottom, for a game drive. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena/Sopa Lodge.

DAY 06:
After early morning breakfast, leave with picnic lunch for a full day crater tour, you will be taken 2000ft down the crater by a 4wheel drive vehicle. Explore the crater before ascending back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 07:
Early morning (0600am)drive across the Rift Valley and up the escarpment to Lake Eyasi where you to join a pre-dawn walk with Bushmen hunters or spend time participating in the morning routine of the settlement. Your local guide will interpret for you and discuss hunting techniques still used by the tribes. This dry and rugged landscape is inhabited by Bushmen who live in nomadic groups hunting with bow and arrow and gathering roots, tubers and wild fruits. Be prepared for an extraordinary cross-cultural experience as you join these nomadic Bushmen in their daily life. Return late evening to Kisimangeda Tented camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 08:
Breakfast at 0700am.Continue this fabulous drive to the shores of Lake Natron riding over hills with panoramic views and enjoying thrilling canters across wildlife-filled plains. Drive via the Engaruka ruins. Explore the eastern shore of the lake, passing hot springs along the way. Dinner and Overnight at Lake Natron Bush Camp/Kamakia Tented camp.

DAY 09:
Breakfast at around 0700am.Today is a rest day, giving you ample time to relax in the hot springs and watch the flamigoes around the lake as well as the wildlife that gathers to drink from the fresh water springs.All meals and overnight at the Camp as the day before.

DAY 10:
After breakfast we depart for Tarangire, Tanzania's third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah and up to six thousand elephant. Dinner and overnight at the Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

DAY 11:
After breakfast proceed for a morning game viewing drive, return to our campsite for lunch, afternoon drive to Arusha Park for Dinner and Overnight at Ngurudoto/Momella Lodge.

DAY 12:
Breakfast at 0700am.Explore the Arusha Park.This park is divided into three distinct areas, Ngurdoto crater, Momela Lakes and Mount Meru . The black and white colobus is the mascot of the park. With the exception of lions and rhinoceros, you will see all kind if wildlife and hundreds of different species of sedentary or migratory birds. Hide outs have been created for observation. Afternoon Lunch at the Lodge lodge before driving back to Arusha/Airport for the next destination.
